Communities around Norton Road in Stockton may have noticed an increased presence of officers and PCSOs in the area as detectives continue their investigation into a serious assault on a woman the evening of Tuesday 2nd July.
Neighbourhood officers are linking in with the community to provide reassurance, and we would encourage anyone with concerns or worries to chat to them.
The three boys aged 16, 14 and 12, arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, have now been released on strict conditional bail whilst enquiries are ongoing.
We continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward, and those with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell camera footage can call 101, quoting reference number 124844.
