In the early hours of yesterday (Saturday 15th June) officers from the Matrix Team identified and located a man who they wanted to speak to in connection with an alleged hit and run incident outside a club in Redcar.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and interviewed, and in the early hours of today he was charged with attempted GBH, dangerous driving, driving with out a licence, driving without insurance, and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.
He has been remanded and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Monday 17th June.
