Police are investigating a suspicious incident in which a man approached an elderly woman in Guisborough as she was using the cashpoint.
It happened at around 1pm yesterday, Sunday 19th May, on Westgate in the town.
The man is described as white, 6 feet tall, of slim build and in his 40s.
He had a tanned complexion, black shiny slicked back hair and he was wearing a turquoise jacket and black or blue jeans and white trainers. He had a brown paper bag with him.
We would appeal for anyone with information, doorbell/dashcam or CCTV footage which could help ongoing enquiries to get in touch.
