Neighbourhood officers in Hartlepool took part in a CPRathon last Saturday in support of the charity DS43 Community Defibrillators.
The community event gave people an opportunity to learn lifesaving skills, with continuous CPR ongoing for eight hours to raise funds to purchase more defibrillators.
PCSO Steven Widdowfield and PCSO Devonport carried out CPR for seven minutes – harder work than you would think!
Hartlepool Neighbourhoods Inspector Adrian Dack said: "This was a fantastic event, organised for a great cause. The Neighbourhood Team attended to show support, engage with the community and take part in the CPRathon.
“Although it night not look like there's much effort going in on these pictures there were some red faces when they came back in and it wasn't from the sun.”
