A man has been arrested after officers from Stockton’s Community Action Team (CAT) conducted proactive patrols in the Tilery area of Stockton.
Following intelligence from the public, officers were carrying out convert patrols today (22nd March) when they observed suspicious activity and attempted to speak to a man.
The man reportedly made off from officers and following a brief foot chase the man was detained and searched. Officers recovered Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine, and a mobile phone.
The 35-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and he currently remains in police custody.
