Around 12:50pm today, Friday 8th November, Middlesbrough Proactive Team officers attended an address on Palmer Street in the town following reports of suspected drug dealing.
A man attempted to evade officers and climbed onto a roof before he was detained.
A search revealed suspected cocaine and crack cocaine which has been recovered.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs. The man remains in police custody whilst enquiries continue.
