The large amount of medication was reported as lost on Thursday 14 November.
The medication, if taken by those who have not been prescribed it, could potentially be dangerous.
Large amounts of methadone and mirtazapine were with a male travelling on the 3A bus from Hartlepool to Middlesbrough when they were lost.
Anyone who may have found the medication is asked to take it to their nearest pharmacy to hand it in, or to a police station.
