Officers from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team visited the retail park to conduct a variety of activity.
On Friday 25 April, the morning began with Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) setting up a stall to interact with members of the public including families and children.
During this time, officers provided a range of crime prevention advice, handed out useful security equipment and several children tried on the police uniform.

Into the evening, officers continued conducting patrols in a bid to disrupt anti-social behaviour.
This resulted in two teenagers being issued with a notice under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act, a woman being summonsed to court for possession of a class B drug and two off-road bikes being seized. Enquiries believe one of the bikes is suspected of being stolen.

One man was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a motorbike and drug driving.

Sergeant Gary Cookland, from Stockton’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “Working alongside our partners at Teesside Park, officers spent the day conducting various activity across the whole of the premises, all for the local community.
“This included engaging with many people, where we heard not only about issues and concerns that they had but also to provide prevention advice and equipment as well as have a fun time with children who wanted to try on our uniforms.
“The other part of our activity was targeted towards disrupting anti-social behaviour which led to the seizure of off-road bikes and notices being provided as well as an arrest relating to drugs.
“Overall, it was a huge success, and we hope members of the public thought so too.”
