A 17-year-old boy has been charged with a string of offences after he was arrested by officers from Hartlepool’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT).
Officers arrested him at around 5.30pm on Friday 4th April on suspicion of three counts of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent in relation to reported incidents on 30th and 31st March.
After carrying out a search, officers recovered two weapons and a quantity of Class A drugs, believed to be cocaine and the 17-year-old was further arrested.
He has since been charged with two counts of possession of a bladed article, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of a Class C drug and is due to appear at court today (Monday 7th April).
He remains on conditional bail in relation to the three counts of causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent.
