Detectives Continue Search for Answers 27 Years on Since Donna Keogh’s Disappearance & Murder

This Weekend marks 27 years since Donna Keogh went missing in Middlesbrough in 1998.

She was only 17 years old when she disappeared.

To this day Donna’s body has never been located, and it is not known what happened to her.

Her family remain desperate for answers.

Officers believe Donna has come to serious harm and a murder investigation was launched.   

She frequented the areas of Middlesbrough town centre, including Hartington Road, Aske Road and Bow.  

Detective Chief Inspector Chatterton from the Historic Investigation Unit said: “This is a live investigation, so far thousands of investigative actions have been carried out and statements gathered, but we still don’t have the answers we need to find Donna or the person responsible for her death”.

“A team of detectives continue trying to piece together what happened to Donna, but we still need help from the public to assist us with the investigation – somebody out there must know or has heard what’s happened to her”.

“It is not too late to come forward. We believe there are people out there with key information which could lead us to Donna’s body and the person who killed her.

“All information is relevant to us, no matter how irrelevant you may think it is, or how uncertain about dates and times you are. All information will be managed sensitively and can be passed directly to the investigation team on 01642 302527, or via control room on 101.”
