Police are appealing for information following an incident in Billingham earlier today, Friday 14th February, during which two 18-year-old men were attacked.
The altercation involving a group of men began on the forecourt of the Jet Garage on Wolviston Road in Billingham, before moving onto Wolviston Road at around 11am this morning.
It is believed that those involved arrived at the garage in a light blue Fiat 500 and a dark coloured Audi A7.
One man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the other man was not injured.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the assault, anyone with Ring doorbell footage or dashcam footage to call 101 quoting reference SE25026417.
Detective Inspector Jolene Bolton, of Stockton CID said: “Understandably, this will have been quite alarming for members of the public to see and concerning for the community to hear about.
“There is not believed to be any risk to the wider community, however there will be a higher presence of officers in the local area to provide some reassurance to those living in that area. Please speak to the officers if you have any concerns, or any information you would like to pass on.”
