A man has been arrested after testing positive for drugs during a roadside stop of a vehicle in Longlands Road, Middlesbrough.
On Tuesday 25th February 2025, officers from Middlesbrough’s Community Action Team stopped the Ford Fiesta.
A roadside test revealed that the driver was reportedly under the influence of cocaine.
A 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, no insurance and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
The vehicle was seized for no insurance.
The man remains on police bail.
