Three Arrested and Thousands of Pounds worth of Suspected Cocaine Seized in Thornaby

Three people have been arrested in the Thornaby area this morning (Thursday 6^th February) after Matrix Disruption Team officers seized thousands of pounds worth of suspected cocaine at an address.

Officers went to a property on Shetland Avenue where suspected cocaine believed to be worth around £4,500 was seized.

Two women aged 19 and 43 and a man aged 48 were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs.

Enquiries are ongoing and all three remain in police custody.

Matrix Disruption Team officers will continue to remove suspected drugs from the streets and tackle organised criminals.
