Four people have been arrested after Stockton Proactive Team observed a suspected drugs deal taking place on Bishopton Lane in Stockton, on Saturday 19th July.
Officers watched as a small package was dropped from a flat window and picked up by a man in the street.
A 44-year-old man was arrested and searched by officers who recovered suspected cocaine and crack cocaine and a large amount of cash.
The flat was searched, and drugs, cash, mobile phones and weapons were also recovered from the address.
Two men aged 40 and 38 and a 29-year-old woman were also arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class A drugs, and later released on bail whilst enquiries continue.
The 44-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs to appear before Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday 21st July.
