The 17-year-old boy, from Middlesbrough, was arrested on Monday 9 June.
Following questioning by detectives in the Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET), he was subsequently charged with attempted murder.
He has been remanded in custody and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Tuesday 10 June.
The charge relates to a 17-year-old boy found with multiple knife injuries on Phoenix Park at 12.40am on Wednesday 30 April.
Three other males, aged 17, 18 and 19, have been charged with attempted murder.
