Man charged in connection with murder

The 32-year-old man we arrested on Wednesday morning (12th March) has since been charged with murder. 

He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates' Court in the morning (Thursday 13th March).

Jordan Hogg, 28, died in the early hours of Friday 28th February on Fonteyn Court. Cleveland Police’s Homicide and Major Enquiry Team (HMET) are continuing their investigation into Jordan’s death.

A 28-year-old man remains in police custody in France in connection with the investigation, after his arrest on Wednesday 5th March at a ferry port. The extradition process is ongoing.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder and he was released on bail with conditions.

Four men, two aged 17, a 27-year-old man and 43-year-old man, have been charged with murder and are remanded in custody until they appear at Teesside Crown Court on Friday 4 April.
