The damage is believed to have occurred on Westgate and Mill Street at some time between 1.15am and 2.15am on Saturday 29 March into Sunday 30 March.
At least 15 vehicles were damaged by having their tyres slashed.
As part of officer’s enquiries to identify who is responsible, they are appealing to anyone who has information, CCTV or dash cam footage to get in touch.
They would also like to hear from anyone who may have seen individual/s acting suspiciously in the area shortly before and after the damage took place.
