Suspected drug driver arrested on A66

In the early hours of this morning (Sunday 2 March) Cleveland Police’s Matrix dogs unit, along with armed response officers, stopped the driver of a vehicle on the A66 westbound carriageway.
He was subsequently arrested for drug driving after failing a test.
Officers also seized cannabis from inside the vehicle.
