Police in Stockton are warning of a potentially contaminated batch of street drugs.
In separate incidents today (Tuesday 18th March), two people were found unconscious after taking what is suspected to be street bought Zopliclone.
Both were taken to the University Hospital of North Tees.
Enquiries into the source and nature of the substance/s consumed are underway and we would urge people not to take potentially dangerous street drugs and to seek immediate medical assistance if they become unwell after taking any substance.
We would also appeal for any information which could help our enquiries. Please contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 047288.
If you don’t want to speak to police you can pass information anonymously to www.crimestoppers-uk.org or phone them on 0800 555 111.
