A man, aged 40, and a woman, aged 33, were arrested in Bishopton Road on Saturday 6 September.
Following questioning in custody, the man was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and the woman was charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine.
Both were remanded in custody until they appear at Teesside Magistrates Court on Monday 8 September.
The charges relate to officers conducting patrols in the Bishopton Road when they came across a suspected drug deal at a property.
Officers gained entry to the property and following a search a quantity of cash and class A drugs were seized.
Two other women, aged 36 and 38, were also arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and have since been released on conditional bail.
