Police are appealing after a woman was involved in a collision with a vehicle which left the scene in Middlesbrough.
The 60-year-old woman was left with non-life threatening injuries but needed extensive hospital treatment including surgery for a fractured ankle, following the collision on St Barnabas Road on Tuesday 7th April around 8:35pm.
The driver left the woman lying in the road and the car, which is described as silver, continued on to Lathem Road before turning on to Chipchase Road.
Anyone with any dash cam footage or CCTV in the area around the time of the incident is urged to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting 065056.
