A man has been charged after suspected class A drugs, thousands of pounds in cash and weapons were recovered.
Matrix officers searched a BMW in Thornaby which led to the recovery of a baton, 19 bags of suspected class A, cash and mobile phones on the afternoon of Monday 13th April.
Subsequently, a search was carried out at an address in the area and further seizures were made including £10,000 in cash, a number of zombie knives and air weapons.
A 42-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and two counts of possession of prohibited weapons.
The man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 15th April.
