Tyler Davidson, of Rochester Road in Roseworth, was armed with three weapons – including a machete in one hand, a militant knife in the other and one protruding from behind his leg.

The 29-year-old was swiftly detained by police who deployed their Taser.
On Wednesday 1 April Davidson appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court to be sentenced to 12 months for being in possession of an offensive weapon in a public place. He had pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing.
During the hearing, the court heard how police officers were contacted by a member of public on Thursday 26 February reporting numerous people fighting in an alley way on Macbean Street.
As officers approached the alleyway, they saw the group and the tip of the knife in Davidson’s possession.
He was arrested and following his interview he was charged.
PSI Peter Coates, from Cleveland Police’s prisoner handling team, said: “Davidson was armed with numerous dangerous weapons when officers were called to reports of a fight in the alleyway.
“Thankfully there were no injuries reported however when officer’s approached Davidson he brandished the knives and to protect him and themselves their Taser was deployed.
“This led to Davidson being swiftly arrested and following the investigation is now in prison.
“Those who choose to carry a knife, do so for different reasons but that doesn’t change how dangerous these weapons are and the serious harm, violence and consequences that come along with it.”
If you believe someone is carrying a knife, please report it either by calling 101 or visiting our website. Always dial 999 in danger.
