Man Suffers Facial Fractures in Altercation, Thornaby

Armed response officers were called to an incident in Thornaby around 9:15pm on Thursday 27th August, following a report of an altercation involving a weapon.
Officers attended Roseberry View, where four people were arrested on suspicion of affray; a 17-year-old boy, two men aged 39 and 43 and a woman aged 30. The men aged 39 and 43 were also additionally arrested on suspicion of wounding.
A 25-year-old man suffered facial fractures and was released from hospital following treatment.
There is not believed to be any link to wider criminality at this time.
