Officers are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was left with head injuries following a collision on Belle Vue Way yesterday afternoon (Saturday 14th February).
It is believed that the teenager was travelling on a red off-road motorbike along a footpath next to the grassed area which runs adjacent to Belle Vue Way.
Then at around 4:15pm, it is believed that the bike has collided with a post near to the junction with Windermere Road, which is where the boy was found injured.
The boy was taken to James Cook University Hospital with a suspected head injury.
Anyone with CCTV, doorbell footage or dashcam of the incident or the time leading up to the incident from around 4pm onwards, is asked to call 101 quoting reference SE26028811.
