A man has been charged after suspected crack cocaine was recovered by Proactive Team officers in Middlesbrough.
Around 11:30am on Wednesday 14th January, officers spotted suspected drug dealing in the central ward in the town and subsequently stopped a vehicle on St Mary’s Walk.
A man was arrested and a search of him and the vehicle resulted in the seizure of suspected crack cocaine and over £500 in cash.
A subsequent search of an address on Trimdon Avenue led to the seizure of additional quantities of suspected crack cocaine and another £975 in cash.
A 30-year-old man has been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and possession of criminal property. He is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Thursday 15th January 2026.
