Two men, aged 30 and 34, and a 31-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.
On Monday 8 June officers from Greater Eston’s neighbourhood policing team executed four warrants – on Maxwell Road in South Bank, Ainthorpe Road in Eston, St Nicholas Court in Grangetown and St David’s Road in Grangetown.
It led to a samurai sword and two pepper sprays being discovered as well as drug paraphernalia.
A further search at a commercial property on Brewsdale Road in North Ormesby resulted in a quad bike and drug paraphernalia being seized.

Both men and the woman were taken to police custody for questioning and have since been released on conditional bail while enquiries continue.
A/Inspector Rob Sedlatschek, from Greater Eston’s neighbourhood policing team, said: “Today’s warrants show that we will act on information provided to us, work with alongside our partners and use every power available to disrupt those who seek to profit from illegal drugs activity.
“Officers will relentlessly pursue those who cause misery and harm in our communities and use all preventive measures to stop them continuing, including seizing the transportation used for drug activity.
“I want to take this opportunity to encourage anyone with concerns to report them so we can continue to protect our neighbourhoods.”
