A man has been charged with class A drugs offences after suspected drug activity in Middlesbrough town centre.
CCTV operators spotted suspected drug activity by a male on a pedal cycle in the early hours of Friday 29th May in the town centre.
On Monday 1st June, Proactive Team officers spotted the suspect in the Ayresome Gardens area, where he was again part of suspected drug activity.
The man was arrested after he made off towards Rosedale Avenue and officers seized a quantity of suspected crack cocaine, heroin and cash.
A 32-year-old man was charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply heroin and possession of criminal property. He has been remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Tuesday 2nd June.
