We’re appealing for information and any relevant footage as enquiries continue into a two car RTC on Long Newton Lane, Eaglescliffe (at a narrowing of the road, near Coatham woods).
It happened at 1.19pm yesterday, Friday 1st May, and involved a Vauxhall Corsa and a Land Rover.
Colleagues from Fire and Ambulance attended the scene with one male driver sustaining what are believed to be minor injuries and the other driver, also male, sustaining several fractures. He attended James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
Please contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number (quoting ref 082069) if you witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles on Long Newton Lane beforehand.
Similarly if you have any relevant footage we would ask you to get in touch.
