Officers are appealing for information and anyone with any relevant dash came footage following a collision in Stockton.
The incident occurred on the A67 at the junction with Long Lane near Kirklevington at around 1.45pm on Sunday 24 May and involved a black royal Alloy GP 350 motorbike and a red vehicle.
It was reported that the motorbike swerved to avoid the red vehicle before both the rider and passenger were ejected off the motorbike.
The rider was taken to hospital with broken ribs whilst the passenger did not suffer any serious injuries.
The red vehicle did not stop and officers are urging the driver to come forward as they believe they can help with their investigation.
