Officers have been investigating individuals trying property door handles and attempting to access motor vehicles since Saturday 16 May.
These have taken place on Marske Lane, Harrowgate Lane, Selwyn Drive and Dawdon Close.
Officers have been conducting various enquiries including the recovery of a vehicle on Selwyn Drive and appealing to anyone in this area who has dash cam or doorbell footage to get in touch.
Those enquiries include three males who were in the area and described as wearing jogging bottoms, puffer jackets, trainers and their faces covered with balaclavas and caps.
Detective Constable Rhianna Wales, from Stockton CID, said: “I am appealing to anyone in the areas that the offenders have targeted to check their dash cam or doorbell footage to see if they see them or anyone acting suspiciously.
“If the footage is useful to our investigation, please get in touch by calling 101 or visiting the website quoting reference number SG26033120.”
