Wayne Fox recently joined Cleveland Police as Assistant Chief Constable, bringing with him a wealth of investigative and leadership experience from his time with North Yorkshire Police. Prior to his appointment he served as Detective Chief Superintendent, with responsibility for the delivery of Protective Services, and later as Temporary Assistant Chief Constable for Crime and Specialist Operations.

ACC Fox has a strong track record in major crime investigation, safeguarding and public protection. He has led several national high-profile enquiries, having spent the vast majority of his career as a detective and Senior Investigating Officer.
ACC Fox’s arrival marks a strategic strengthening of Cleveland Police’s Senior Command Team, as the force continues to evolve and meet the challenges of modern policing.
