We have listened to your concerns about drug dealing taking place. We have dedicated patrol plans in place with regards to the drug dealing you are reporting in the community. We have gathered intelligence and made 2 large drug seizures within your community. We have also identified a cannabis farm which was located and dismantled. We are working with the local authority with regards to removing the tenancy for the owner. We have made these in the Grangetown, Eston and Bankfields areas. This has prevented these drugs being marketed and sold on the local streets.
We have applied for and successfully attained 2 drugs warrants. We have been successful in a house closure on an address dealing drugs within the community. As a result, that individual has lost their home and their status in the community. They will no longer be able to affect their local neighbours/community.

Anti Social Behaviour
Issued 24 May 2025
The Neighbourhood Police Team continue to tackle anti-social behaviour in Grangetown and Normanby, particularly around the Banksfield area. These areas still have dedicated additional patrol plans to disrupt those who cause our community to feel harassed or unsafe in their local area. We are working with our partners to ensure that the local minority of people who are causing this ASB are held to account. As a result, we have successfully issued a total of 7 community protection warnings and notices to individuals. We are also targeting those who are involved in the receipt of drugs through using the mail system. These drugs are regularly intercepted, the individuals receiving these packages are currently in danger of losing their home through residential closures working jointly with the council. If you are dealing drugs or involved in the supply, you will most definitely be likely to lose your home in the process.
During the last 3 months we have issued a total of 34 AS13’s, warnings for anti-social behaviour. We will continue to work with partners to highlight the consequences of their actions and the impact this could have on their residential status within the community to deter their mission of causing disruption.
This has only been achievable through your information as a community, and we will be continuing to patrol these areas and act on your intelligence with regards to where the ASB/drug dealing is occurring. We have targeted this around specific individuals and applied for and likely to achieve a further criminal behaviour order for an individual who is causing anti-social behaviour within the community.
