Off Road Bikes
Issued 21 May 2025
We continue to work with our community and partner agencies to tackle this issue by any means we can. In certain areas we have tried to ‘design out’ the main areas that we see these issues and those that are reported to us. We need the information from our community on where these bikes are being stored so that we can take them off the streets which will see them crushed not sold on.

Antisocial behaviour
Issued 21 May 2025
we continue to work with partners and education establishments to reduce the effects of harm from those who cause anti social behaviour within our communities. We will proactively target locations and offenders to protect those within our community from becoming victims of crime. We will utilise our criminal powers to address these issues but also through our partners and civil legislation with Community Protection Orders (CBO’s), Criminal Behaviour Orders (CBO’s) and tenancy enforcement to name but a few.

Rural Crime
Issued 25 May 2025
As part of our rural crime strategic plan we hold and attend regular rural crime meetings so that we can identify and understand what is causing the most affect and impact upon those who live and work in our rural crime areas of the town. Proactive patrols are carried out at peak times to maximise our resources and increase our opportunities to bring offenders to justice. The drone unit are a key player in this piece of work as we continue to respond to the communities needs.
