Action taken:
Drug dealing is being dealt with continuously in the Newport Ward.
A drugs warrant was carried out at an address on Costa Street due to ongoing issues.
Proactive are working with Neighbourhood Officers to tackle drug dealing around the Laycock Park and Archibald School area. -

Anti-social Behaviour
Action taken:
Antisocial behaviour is being addressed in the Newport Ward by regular high visibility patrols being carried out within the area.
Regular house visits are being carried out by PCSOs and Neighbourhood Safety Officer Ste Wright to address issues that are being caused by youths in the Newport Ward and surrounding areas. Issues are being dealt with by providing guidance and issuing Antisocial Behaviour Contracts.
