Your neighbourhood team
Our Neighbourhood Policing Teams are proud to police the area of Cleveland, which covers the districts of Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough.
These teams are made up of police officers, police community support officers and special constables, and are supported by officers from other departments. They work to prevent crime, protect communities, tackle criminals and make sure those intent on causing our communities harm are stopped.
Our officers often run community drop-in events, and work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to shape our policing priorities for the area and find solutions to community problems.

There has been an increased police presence in the Coulby Newham area and utilisation of a police drone in order to identify offenders and allow appropriate actions to be taken.
There has also been significant educational work and partnership engagement from a number of agencies.
