Your neighbourhood team
Our Neighbourhood Policing Teams are proud to police the area of Cleveland, which covers the districts of Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough.
These teams are made up of police officers, police community support officers and special constables, and are supported by officers from other departments. They work to prevent crime, protect communities, tackle criminals and make sure those intent on causing our communities harm are stopped.
Our officers often run community drop-in events, and work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to shape our policing priorities for the area and find solutions to community problems.

Ward Loftus - Off Road Bikes in Liverton Mines
Action taken:
There has been an increase in reports to both Police and Redcar and Cleveland Council from residents regarding the use of off road bikes within Liverton Mines over recent months and the detrimental effect this is having on the community and I would like to focus on this as a ward priority. We will be speaking to partners, residents and conducting patrols with the aim of reducing complaints and seizing and bikes used illegally.
