Anti-social behaviour - Byland Road & Rievaulx Road estate
Issued 26 May 2026
We have been carrying out increased patrols of Byland Road and its surrounding streets to deter and detect antisocial behaviour. We have identified and tackled youths who we find responsible. This includes issuing ASB warning notices and in some cases making written agreements with families. The local housing association is also taking its own actions in tandem with police. In one recent case, a property was closed on Rievaulx Road after regular complaints from residents. We encourage residents to report antisocial behaviour to police by calling 101.
We will continue to patrol and address this issue, taking positive action where we can.
