Detectives from Stockton CID are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault to get in touch.
Officers were in the Hardwick area of Stockton earlier today (Friday 18th April) conducting arrest attempts as part of ongoing enquiries into a serious assault in Billingham on 11th April.
Police in Stockton are warning of a potentially contaminated batch of street drugs.
Officers were called to Stockton library shortly after 1.30pm this afternoon (Friday 14th March), after a man had reported to a third party that he had been followed into the building by someone in possession of a weapon.
A 40-year-old man has been charged and detained to appear at court tomorrow after detectives from Stockton CID investigated a report of an attempted robbery on an 89-year-old man.
