A man who lied about his age to speak to a child on social media and threatened to send indecent photos of her to her friends has today been jailed.
A seven-year-old boy injured in a collision on Westminster Road in Middlesbrough yesterday afternoon, Thursday 21st August, remains in a serious but stable condition at The Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle.
Officers are appealing for information and any relevant CCTV footage following a string of burglaries which were reported in the Hartlepool area.
Officers were called to the Premier Store on Yarm Lane, Stockton, at around 4.00am this morning (Friday 22nd August) following reports a vehicle reversed into the store before driving away.
Police received a report of a collision around 2:55pm today, Thursday 21st August, on Westminster Road in Middlesbrough.
The Explosives Ordnance Disposals team are currently on scene at the Teesworks site in Southbank after a suspected unexploded device was found at around 12.30pm this afternoon, Thursday 21st August.
