PCs Hollinshead and Bajec from Middlesbrough NPT were delighted to attend the town’s Parkville Care Centre when they hosted an emergency services’ Blue Light day this week.
We’re appealing for information and any relevant footage after a collision involving an 18-year-old pedestrian and a Range Rover in central Middlesbrough last night (Friday 1st May).
Local residents may have seen a police presence in Cumberland Road, Middlesbrough from mid afternoon today as officers responded to a caller who reported seeing a man appear to threaten another man with a bladed weapon in the street.
Shortly after 9.37pm last night (Sunday 8th March) officers began to follow a white Peugeot Partner van which was on the A66 in the Cannon Park area of Middlesbrough.
Middlesbrough neighbourhood officers PCSO Kaplan and PC Iqbal were delighted to attend Breckon Hill Primary School for their careers event today.
Drug dealing

Police have conducted high visibility and plain clothes operations in the area to tackle drug dealing. Multiple arrests have been made in relation to possession with intent to supply offences. On 31st March a male was given a sentence of 3 years and 8 months for drug dealing in Middlesbrough town centre. Further to this, an address on North Ormesby Road that was being used to supply drugs in Central ward which was causing a misery to the local community was given a closure order after joint work with Middlesbrough Council.

Main areas being McDonalds, Level X, Lytton Street, Park Road North, Wilton Street. Extra patrols to be conducted and joint working with Neighbourhood Safety Officers and street wardens to tackle with enforcement action. Several youths have had visits from police and Middlesbrough Councils Neighbourhood Safety Team who have issued warnings to them and parents.

Off-road Motorbikes

Officers continue to tackle the use of off road motorbikes in our community with the "Not on our Streets" campaign. Officers from Matrix, NPT's and proactive team regularly seize off-road motorbikes suspected of being used to commit crime in our area.
