We’re disappointed to report that another potentially lifesaving defibrillator has been stolen in East Cleveland.
A 38-year-old man who detectives from Redcar CID arrested in connection with alleged incidents in Saltburn on Saturday 7th June (two thefts from a shop, a burglary and an attempted robbery) was later charged with two counts of theft from a shop, burglary and attempted robbery.
Stolen vehicles, Class A drugs, cash and a so-called burner phone were seized by Redcar’s Proactive Team in separate incidents in recent days.
A police officer sustained a fractured wrist as he attended an incident in East Cleveland at the weekend.
A 51-year-old man was to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 10th June) after detectives from Redcar CID charged him with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and with possession of a Class B drug (amphetamines).
