This house in Gladstone Street, Loftus is now subject to a three-month closure order after neighbourhood officers and colleagues from Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council's Antisocial Behaviour Team responded to numerous complaints from the local community about crime and antisocial behaviour in and around the property.

Anti-social behaviour
Some young people have been causing general nuisance in and around shops. We continue to carry out high visibility patrols to prevent, detect and deter anti-social behaviour, and when individuals have been identified they are issued anti-social behaviour warnings and can receive further interventions.
We continue to work with partners to mitigate the effects of antisocial behaviour by identifying those who cause issues in the community and where necessary. We will engage with the young people, schools and community groups to promote positive behaviour and prevent individuals from becoming involved in crime.

We continue to work with partners to mitigate the effects of antisocial behaviour by identifying those who cause issues in the community and issuing appropriate warnings where necessary in order to improve community safety and reduce ASB.
Shop theft
We are working closely with local businesses to review CCTV to identify offenders. We are also conducting targeted high visibility patrols inside and around shops to reduce thefts and provide reassurance to members of the community. We will continue to seek Orders against repeat offenders to protect stores from being repeat victims.
