We have continued to target this area due to the volume of calls received.
We had a period of well over 100 days where there were no reports of theft from vehicles. This has been a great result and helps reduce the fear of crime. Unfortunately, there were two reports in May, both of which were thefts from insecure vehicles – this really goes to show the importance of locking your vehicles.We have used Dispersal Orders, granted by the Neighbourhood Police Team Inspector, to tackle ASB in central Redcar, and will continue to do so where appropriate.

Road Safety/Speeding on Boosbeck Road + ASB on Skelton High Street.
Action taken:
We will be conducting Speed watch events on Boosbeck Road having listened to some local complaints.
Also because of calls about ASB on Skelton High Street we are conducting targeted patrols and engagement on Skelton High St.
