Anti-social behaviour
Issued 26 May 2026
Anti-social behaviour within the ward is one of the lowest within the district and the Neighbourhood Policing Teams (NPT) will continue to patrol the area to keep it this way. The area around Holyhead Drive field is becoming a magnet once again for nuisance bikes, causing issues and distress for local residents. I will be conducting high visibility patrols in and around the location to identify and deal with riders and look to seize bikes once stopped/located.

Retail theft
Issued 26 May 2026
Theft has increased within the ward, mainly in and around Embleton Court shops. I have liaised with business premises in relation to this and will continue to conduct extra patrols to deter and disrupt anyone intent on committing crime, while providing reassurance to residents and businesses alike.
I will also use our engagement van in the area as a larger visible deterrent and to allow us to encourage residents to sign up to Cleveland Connected.
