Criminal damage
Issued 26 May 2026
The criminal damage figures remain low however are still a focus point for our team. As summer approaches there is often a trend for damage to increase also. To combat this as an NPT team ongoing patrols will be carried out. Visits to the library and NAP meetings to discuss target hardening and crime prevention to promote safer communities.

Anti Social Behaviour
Issued 22 June 2026
The crime and ASB figures for the ward remain low. As the summer approaches there is often an increase in ASB figures, this is often around Zetland Park. People should feel comfortable to use the park but aware that we will target those responsible for ASB in the area. The NPT team will continue to attend community groups at Laburnum Library on a regular basis, offering Cleveland Connected sign-ups and cold caller advice and packs. This is a space where the team can have discussions with the public to gain information as well as give advice on ASB and other crime issues. We continue to encourage members of the public to report any incidents to us via the 101 number, online (including the chat box option) on the Cleveland Police website or by using the COPA app. We will continue patrols and regular checks ins to those in areas that are affected by ASB issues.
