Your neighbourhood team
Our Neighbourhood Policing Teams are proud to police the area of Cleveland, which covers the districts of Hartlepool, Redcar and Cleveland, Stockton-on-Tees and Middlesbrough.
These teams are made up of police officers, police community support officers and special constables, and are supported by officers from other departments. They work to prevent crime, protect communities, tackle criminals and make sure those intent on causing our communities harm are stopped.
Our officers often run community drop-in events, and work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to shape our policing priorities for the area and find solutions to community problems.

We continue to support and safeguard repeat victims of crime, including offering crime prevention advice wherever possible

Action taken:
We continue to work with our partners at the local authority, housing providers and others to tackle youth ASB. We combine an approach of enforcement, engagement and diversion.
