We have carried out regular foot patrols in the hot spot area with Cleveland Fire, RCBC Enforcement, Ward Counsellors and housing associations to prevent and deter ASB. We have identified problem addresses and taken action with partners around tenants we believe involved. We have executed search warrants looking for drugs after information from the community. We have referred four youths to the Cleveland Fire for prevention and education schemes. We have liaised with the Landlord and businesses in Roseberry Square to carry out target hardening – securing rubbish and trollies that had been used by those setting fires. We have arranged and carried out multi agency community clean up events.
There have been and will be regular foot patrols and pop up events. A large number of youths identified in ASB have been visited and issued with AS13 notices which is part of the ongoing process for those involved in ASB where we work with RCBC and their Antisocial Behaviour Campaign. These will be escalated to the next stage if antisocial behaviour continues.
